Subscription and Purchase Information

Note: We do not store payment card information. All payments are processed through Apple's App Store.

AI Service Usage

  • Which words you request AI explanations for

Apple Services

  • Sign in with Apple: Apple authenticates you and provides us with a unique identifier. We do not receive your email unless you explicitly share it.
  • App Store: All purchases are processed through Apple. We only receive transaction verification data.
  • Push Notifications: We use Apple's push notification service to send notifications.

Apple's use of your information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

OpenRouter AI Service

We use OpenRouter to generate AI-powered word explanations. When you request an explanation, we send word information and your personalization settings (native language, English level, learning goal) to OpenRouter. We do not send your user ID or other personally identifiable information.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only:

  • With trusted service providers (hosting, database services) under strict confidentiality agreements
  • If required by law or to protect our rights and safety
  • In the event of a business transfer (merger, acquisition)
  • With your explicit consent
